Workplace Financial Planning is a monthly half day event for your most valuable assets – your staff.

What is it? NWF organizes a monthly 15 minute talk on financial planning issues over the lunch hour. Over the rest of the afternoon, staff may avail of 30 minute financial planning sessions, with no cost and no obligation, on company time. Top management receives customer satisfaction surveys to ensure that staff are satisfied.

A recent Harris survey revealed that 29% of staff blame their employers for their financial problems . Tough times call for creative solutions, none more pressing than the need to improve productivity at the workplace. When staff are losing sleep over financial issues and losing productive time making trips to the bank and waiting for appointments with a financial advisor, the team at NWF may be able to help.

The Workplace Financial Planning Service allows employers and business owners to provide staff with on-site financial planning and coaching, held to the stringent standards of the Financial Planning Standards Council of Canada. Good outcomes of the Service include: staff noting positive experiences in the satisfaction surveys, improved productivity, and improved staff perceptions of the business owner or employer.
