Michael Badham, CA, CBV, CF

Michael Badham brings 30 years of investment banking experience, including mergers and acquisitions, financings, infrastructure and other corporate growth transactions. Prior to joining Cambridge, he was a partner of Deloitte, managing its corporate finance practice, a partner in Power Financial Capital Corp. (of Power Corporation of Canada) and a director in Nesbitt Thomson. Michael has provided advice and strategic ideas on public and private financings, and complex cross-border M&A transactions to a broad range of Canadian companies.
His extensive advisory experience includes a wide range of corporate clients in manufacturing (including steel, food and aerospace), financial services, media, communication and technology. Michael’s deep transaction experience, his expertise in technical matters of valuation and corporate finance, and his knowledge of business strategy and governance have given him a reputation for creatively surfacing value and efficiently completing transactions.
Michael is a Chartered Accountant, a Chartered Business Valuator, and has a Bachelor of Mathematics from the University of Waterloo. He holds the CF designation and has completed the Rotman education program for the Institute of Corporate Directors.
